Airline Information

St. Lucia is serviced by two major airlines from the UK.

Sundays and Wednesdays weekly
Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and commencing in November 2006 will be coming from Manchester on Thursdays
  From Gatwick to St. Lucia from March 25 2007 to October 26 2007 and from Manchester to St. Lucia from March 29 2007 to April 26 2007 as part of their summer schedule

Airports

There are two (2) airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located 40 miles south of Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which adorns a pleasant coastline on the outskirts Castries.

Airport departure tax

Departure Tax of EC £34 for all international passengers over 12 years old or £18 for regional passengers must be paid when leaving the Island.


Airport Transfers

Transfers from Hewanorra Airport are included. Transfers from Castries will incur additional costs of approx £60, to be arranged locally. Public transport is an alternative, however, passengers must walk their luggage to the main road. The trip to Castries will cost approximately £4.00, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
