Airports
There are two (2) airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF) is located 40 miles south of Castries and George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) which adorns a pleasant coastline on the outskirts Castries.

Airport departure tax
Departure Tax of EC £34 for all international passengers over 12 years old or £18 for regional passengers must be paid when leaving the Island.
Airport Transfers
Transfers from Hewanorra Airport are included. Transfers from Castries will incur additional costs of approx £60, to be arranged locally. Public transport is an alternative, however, passengers must walk their luggage to the main road. The trip to Castries will cost approximately £4.00, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
